Carolina Dragway hosted the Division 2 East Heat Wave Summit Team Finals presented by AMSOIL and Moser Engineering over the weekend, welcoming 13 teams to the facility. Host team Carolina Dragway won the overall team standings by 18 points over Immokalee Regional Raceway. Bradenton Motorsports Park, Orangeburg Dragstrip and Union County Dragway rounded out the top five. In the Summit SuperSeries presented by AMSOIL and Moser Engineering runoff Tim Butler of Bradenton Motorsports Park and Sammy Hollingsworth of Union County advanced in Top ET, Chris Adams from Immokalee Regional Raceway and Aaron Brock from Pageland Dragway moved on in Mod ET and Toni Salsigiver from Carolina Dragway and Jennifer Craft from Central Florida Racing Complex advanced in Junior Dragster.
