It was our intention to honor Shannon Brinkley for his Quick Rod and Super Rod wins at the State Capitol make-up event at San Antonio Nitro Jam but the wrong photo was selected. The photo on the cover of Issue 18 is actually of Alan Savage, who took the Quick Rod and Super Rod wins at the Sportsman Spectacular, which was also hosted by San Antonio Raceway.

Steps are being taken to correct this error, but unfortunately the magazine has already been printed. We are, however, changing the cover in the digital version of Issue 18, and the cover of upcoming Issue 19 will feature Shannon and his family as originally intended for Issue 18.

Once again, apologies to all concerned for any embarrassment this may have caused. Below is the correct cover showing Brinkley with his awards.
