The 2012 IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL travels to Darlington Dragway August 31-September 3 for a drag racing triple-header featuring the final Division 2 Heat Wave points meet of the year. The event will feature a triple Pro-Am points claim featuring the rescheduled Carolina Dragway Pro-Am plus the originally scheduled Darlington double. There will be a test and tune on Friday, race one on Saturday, race two on Sunday and the rescheduled Carolina event on Monday.

What to expect : With the end of the 2012 Division 2 IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL season quickly approaching, racers are positioning themselves for a good yearend finish. Along with the regular double races on Saturday and Sunday there will also be the rained out and rescheduled race from Jackson, S.C. on Monday. New track owner/operator Ronnie Siders and staff are very excited about this race and with the addition of the rescheduled race from Jackson it will truly be a great weekend. 

Friday –Gates Open 1-11 p.m.; Tech Open 3-9 p.m.; Track hosted Test & Tune 6-10 p.m.

Saturday –Gates & Tech Open @ 8 a.m.; Time Trials/Qualifying (2 rds) @ 9 a.m.; Eliminations & Quick 8 Outlaw Pro Mods after second time trial

Sunday – Gates Open @ 8 a.m.; Tech Open 9-11 a.m.; God Speed Church Service @ 9 a.m.; Time Trial/Qualifying (1 rd) 10 a.m. with eliminations to follow
