Raiders head to The Farm for TOC qualifier, final D9 race of season

The 2012 IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL travels to Farmington Dragway in North Carolina August 10-12 for a Summit Tournament of Champions qualifier and the final Division 9 Raiders points meet of the year. The event will feature a double Pro-Am points claim with a test and tune on Friday, qualifying and the rescheduled Mooresville Pro-Am race to be held on Saturday and qualifying and racing on Sunday with a spot in the TOC on the line.

What to expect
: The final stop on the Division 9 IHRA Summit Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL will be at Farmington Dragway, just outside of Winston Salem, N.C. This will be the final points claim for division 9 and also a TOC qualifier for Sunday winners. The track was bought last year by Everett and Holly Justice, and with help from daughter Amanda and husband Cameron Manual they have given the place a complete face lift, added new track equipment and made it an even greater place to race.
Friday gates will open at 8 a.m., tech will be open from 1-9 p.m. with a track hosted test and tune from 2-9 p.m. Saturday gates and tech will open at 7:30 a.m. with tech closing after the second time trial. God Speed Church Service will be held at 9 a.m. and time trials and qualifying will be at 9 a.m. with two rounds (qualifying in Stock & Super Stock will be for Sunday’s TOC race). The rescheduled Mooresville Pro-Am will follow time runs and run to completion with all classes open to new entries.
Sunday gates will open at 9 a.m. with God Speed Church Service at 10 a.m., and Pro-Am and Tournament of Champions eliminations set to begin at noon.
