Rigs are rolling in, the forecast is perfect and a full assortment of beautiful race cars are being polished, primped and primed for a full weekend of Nitro Jam action at the MOPAR Nitro Jam Nationals this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Grand Bend Motorplex. 

Five professional classes and a full contingent of sportsman racers will do battle throughout the weekend at the Motorplex with racing set for all three days. Friday features a special TNT Super Series competition, CanAm Stock and Super Stock race, Pro Mod qualifying and a test and tune all beginning at 4 p.m. 

Saturday will feature sportsman qualifying throughout the afternoon beginning at 9 a.m. with the first round of sportsman eliminations and a hit of Pro Mod qualifying at 5 p.m., the FanFest Pit Party at 5:30 p.m. and two rounds of Nitro Jam beginning at 7 p.m. 

Sportsman eliminations will continue on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. followed by two more rounds of Nitro Jam at 1 p.m. Sunday’s sportsman winners will also earn a spot in the year-end Summit Racing Equipment Tournament of Champions presented by AMSOIL. 

Nitro Jam competition features five professional classes including four nitro-powered classes made up of Top Fuel Dragster, AMSOIL Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car, Nostalgia Fuel Altered and Nitro Harley and a full field of Pro Mods in the PMRA series. 

Fans can meet the drivers and get up close and personal with the cars throughout the afternoon and during the FanFest Pit Party. Race fans can also take advantage of the MOPAR Power Corral featuring a full assortment of great MOPAR cars and the Summit Racing Equipment Power Experience featuring a racing simulator, videos, merchandise and more all on Pro Row.
